New Ingleburn Library Proposal

Campbelltown City Council is currently planning the construction of a new library and community facility at Ingleburn. The proposed plans have recently been submitted for development approval and are now available for public view and comment. You can access the plans here, or in person at Ingleburn and the HJ Daley Libraries.

The new facility will feature state of the art environmental design and be able to provide significantly expanded services to the northern part of the city. We anticipate that the new branch will be opened in August 2008.

Choice Reads

Have you read any good books lately and want to share the exprience? Why not head over the library's online Reader's Lounge and submit a review.

The lounge has lots of resources to help you find great new authors and books and you can also read and post book reviews of your favourites. If you liked an author and want to know what else they wrote, or who writes like them, have a look at the "Novelist" database or follow the links to popular book review websites. While you're comfortable, have a look at the author spotlight section. This month, we feature Lian Hearn, author of "Across the nightingale floor."
