We're planning to introduce book clubs and would like to invite anyone who's interested in participating in them to register their interest.
Book clubs are a great way of reading new books and meeting people. The clubs will meet in the library on last wednesday of each month and be limited in size to about 10 readers. We supply the books and some discussion notes and all you have to do is read and come along to the meetings.
The first meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 25th July starting at 6.30 pm at the HJ Daley Library. You'll be reading Thomas Keneally's latest book "The widow and her hero".
If you can't make that time, but still want to be involved, register your interest and any other details and we'll try and schedule a group that suits you.
To register your interest call David or Carolyn on 46454415.

My wife and I recently started an online literary community for people who love to read. The site is called CurlingUp.com that allows members to start and participate in public/private book clubs/discussions as well as post book reviews of what you are reading. If you have people who aren't able to attend the in-person groups at Campbelltown City Library, we would love to invite them to start a CCL Book Club/Discussion on CurlingUp.com.
Happy reading!
